FN/FAL operating problem

Nope, I have an L1A1 and its just as it left the factory:D
Plus I have the .22 conversion kit.

saying that, does ANYBODY have a spare box for the .22 kit?
I may be forced to make one, but I would much rather have the original.

up here, we all wish we could own and fire a FN like you can in the US.

so which is it, brit or aussy? is everything original, no US made parts required?

have you tried placing an ad on EE for the box?
 
This might not be the place for this, but (just to stir the pot) if you had a range on your own property for personal use, would you not then be able to fire a prohib - since you live on the property you're not transporting anything, and I don't recall reading a law that said discharge of prohibs was illegal.

From what I can tell its perfectly legal to shoot on your own property in your own private range. Now not alot of people have their own private range, but it is possible.

Ain't it the truth? Somebody actually posts something interesting for once, and half the board has piss running down it's leg squealing like little girls about the 'illegal' aspects. If Canadian gun owners actually grew a pair and told the gun grabbers to kiss their asses right from the get-go, we'd never have ended up in this boat. An FN-FAL would be just another (albeit very fine) rifle and a Model 60 S&W would be what you carried in your tackle box to dispatch Halibut.

Some people truly don't deserve freedom - I just wish they'd stop dragging the rest of us down with them with their spineless complacency and repulsively subservient natures.
 
IMHO, quoting regulations which were pulled out of the ass of some Liberal bureaucrat dirties everyone, but none moreso than the regspolizei himself. Keep your Liberal manta to yourself!

Santa, you'll probably have better luck getting your actual question answered on American gun boards, as they won't give a damn about whether you have an SAP or not.

Personally I don't care if you shoot it at your house, a range, or out in the bush as long as you don't hit anything worth keeping. Whose business is that, anyway?

And why is the guy a troll? At worst he might be a guy with a temper, ignoring a stupid law. Well, a lot of guys have a temper, and in any case, if you want to gamble with laws, as long as you don't hurt anyone else, I'm all for it.

I think the answer was given by a number of people very well aquainted with the FN/FAL, some of them weapons techs.
If you had been in touch and checked on the thread within a reasonable time you would have realized this.

You didn't , so this initiated the banter about FN/FAL stuff.

So I'm wondering , if you are ex military, why don't you now this stuff yourself, seeing's how you decided to call down the people who you originally asked the help from?
