FN/FAL Thermold Mags???

So I contacted Thermold to purchase some Mags from a Canadian distrubtor and this is the response I got back (they have deal right now $60 for 3 mags and a speed loader);

"I was forwarded your questions regarding our FN/FAL Magazines. We are currently making a 5 round FN/FAL Metric pattern magazine pinned for 5 rounds special order for a distributor in Canada but are restricted from making private sales to Canada.

You may want to try to pre-order from Korth Group in Canada. I don't have their contact information available but I'm sure that Google will find them.

Korth shows them on thier site but but with no cost and no way to order them even though they have the option to proceed to checkout. Is there any other supplier for thermold mags in Canada?

Questar sells a RRA Lar-8 polymer magazine, which is in fact a Thermold Fal magazine.

I bought the RRA steel Lar-8 mags from questar and they are not the right pattern. So I would assume the polymer ones are also the wrong pattern.

I bought both the steel mag and the polymer from Questar for my Kel-tec RFB. The steel mag was definitely an inch pattern and required grinding off the front catch. The polymer mag I'm not so sure of, the front catch is a half moon shape like a metric magazine but it was rather large and required grinding off to fit in the RFB.

In my case I didn't care which pattern it was. The modification to the magazine is very easy to do.

Korth Group does not sell direct. They are a distributor only. Have your local gun shop give them a call, or call them yourself and they will direct you to someone in your area.
