FN Five Seven MK-2

I did some research about these a few months ago, and this is what I found, not trying to burst your bubble but my 0.000002:
These have been around for a long time now. They are probably one of the best handguns out there, unfortunately, finding ammo for this gun here in Canada is next to impossible and if you do, is going to be very expensive. Reloading is possible but do to the inherently difficult design of the cartridge reloading for these gun is like playing Russian roulette... Long story short, the cartridge is very difficult to reload for.
If ammo and money is not a issue, I think it is a great pistol. It looks solid.

Irunguns has the ammo - but it's pretty close to the cost of rifle ammo. The gun isn't all that affordable either. Considering that the round is marginally more powerful than a 22 rimfire magnum, it has very limited use. If you can handle the cost however, you'll be the coolest kid on the block.

That vid was brutal, I couldn't finish it.

Oh and its black, look at the slide serration and its black, did I mention its black, BLACK

I think you've been talking about the mk1 there. The one in the OP is the mk2. I am not going to do reloads, all factory loads and yes ammo is an arm and a leg but I can afford it if properly sourced.

true, this is the mk2, still is the same platform I believe, I can be wrong...

FN Five Seven....

Shot one circa 1999 when some FN reps were in Vancouver to do a demo. It was pretty new then.

Lots of blast but other than that..... meh!

Questar International in Barrie is taking advanced orders for the Five-seveN as well as the PS90 (restricted AND NON-RESTRICTED versions). I assume that Questar is now the FN Herstal Distributor for Canada.

I purchased a NIB FN Five-seveN MK2 with 1,000 rounds of FN Factory ammo (5.7x28 FN) recently from a fellow CGNer. American Eagle also markets this caliber...

In support of Israel ;) I also special-ordered a FAB Defense KPOS G2 5.7 from Wolverine Supplies which arrived today - one month earlier than they promised. A big thank you to John, Guy, Ryan et. al.

I will be doing a review of this setup as well as a range report in a couple of weeks time...

That's umm...that's quite the set up there. Pretty much a 2 PDW set up going on there. Please feel free to post that review here with your results.
