Fn fnp-45

yess, we need the fuel! Mark, we have a few people interested in the fnp9 and 40, how much would it cost per gun to bring it in?
 
Mmmmm...FNP-9...$700 and I'll get 2 (I know...wishful thinking considering the barrel change requirement...)
 
Let's see what Mark says. Since we need the 106mm barrel for the FNP9/40, do we get the 4" barrel with it? I would like to have the 4" barrel as well, because any day now the prohibited class will be eliminated.

I have no idea where you got that idea, but the 4" barrels are never coming into this country; and there is nothing close to de-prohibiting anything in C-391 so please re-assess your exuberance. You can not posses a 4" barrel without 12.6, and even if you did have 12.6 there can be no imports of prohibited anything, and no more 12.6 firearms can be created.
 
^^^^^ ok captain, I will re-assess my exuberance. As I can see I had never made any reference to bill C-391.

SCHULTZ, OFFICE!!!! Incorrect sir, once we get rid of the rediculous Bill c-68 and that other Kim Cambell mess, we will have lots of them, and that other FN one people like, and not needing the extra expensive barrel. Yes we can do it. Just ask Mark Holland.

Not looking good.. Did he give you a reason or a Time frame ? Is it a legal issue ?

I believe he said he's been trying to track them down for over a year with no success. So I guess no one wants to distribute them here.

I am thinking I might just go through gun broker and get one imported. I believe everything is legal on the gun except the 15 round mags. What would I have to do about that to make them legal? (sorry to hijack the thread)
 
Pin them. Saw a thread once somewhere people were talking about receiving pmags unpinned = prohibited so they just pinned em with a rivet before leaving the house.
 
I will have to look in to this a little more. I am new to the firearms scene so I am still learning a lot of the laws. I figured you weren't even allowed to bring in (into Canada) mags over ten.
 
I have talk with Questar concerning the FNX45 FDE and the problem is apparrently too much demand and back ordered for who knows when...

Looks like a lot of places are out of stock in the US. The Tactical if in stock is listed on most sites for 1099. Gun broker and a quick Google searche find most selling points are around 1300 and up. I believe I saw someone selling it for over 2000.

I am still determined to get this gun.
