FN FNP 9mm

Basically I want an "upgrade" from M&P9, SR9 style guns...meaning for ME DA/SA and also having something a bit more uncommon is nice too.

Thoughts?

EDIT: I DO like this gun, more then others...I am asking about IT not what other gun you think I'd like better...thanks for the opions tho. Tried em all...Sig 226, 1911, Glock, M&P, CZs, ect and I am wanting to make sure the FN will be a solid choice. I'd own all the guns I've tried if I could afford them but I cannot...so I must settle one 1.

Not a fan of the CZ pistols...love their rifles and I know the guns work well I just can't stand them.

I was always interested in FN handguns. Wanted FN49 years ago but it was too expensive at the time.

Unfortunately they come with a 4" barrel and I'm not aware of anyone bringing them in with an extended barrel.

The FN9 is a nice pistol, quite Sig like, anothe option is the Sig 2022.

So the 9mm only comes with a 4" barrel....I'd have to get the FNP 45 that has a 4.5" barrel unless someone makes a slightly longer barrel for the 9mm.

Is there a source for non-prohib length barrels? Because at 101.6mm the factory barrel's too short for them to be imported. mAybe an H&K P30 would be enough of an upgrade?
