I had the chance to handle a FNS-9L and found it really confortable. Ended up skipping my turn on getting it because for a couple reasons.

I had doubts on the frame rigidity. Front where the under rail is showed some bend and looked flimsy... Also, even tho FN is a well known name and great manufacturer, the lesser popularity of their pistol line made me wonder.

So, to yall FNS-9 or FNS-9L owners, what are your thoughts, praises and complaints? Should I still look for one? I must say it really fitted my hand good.

Thx.

I have one and my wife has one, I have over 15k rounds thru mine and the wife has probably over 20k thru hers,, can't say a single negative thing about them, I shoot my Glock19 more often these days but I still enjoy the FN for two gun matches where concealment isn't an issue, really like the longer barrel for that application. My wife uses hers for speed steel, IDPA, and two gun and loves it. I'm blown away by how little wear both our guns show with the amount of rounds we have shot, mine looks brand new still.
My buddy also shoots one in IDPA and enjoys it a lot. I also like the fact that every interior piece is steel, not plastic, the mags are high quality and you get three of them with the gun.
In my opinion, the FNS9LS is one of the most under appreciated handguns out there, especially at its price point, I say you can't go wrong

I had and FSN-9L, replaced my glock because it fit me way better as you have discovered it's very good in the hand. It shot very well, almost as good as my CZ shadow, but I ultimately replaced it with the S&W M&P9 2.0 which fits me even better and has a lot more aftermarket support. At the end of the day I figure you should buy what feels best to you.

I have a 40L and really like it. The main concern about them seems to be lack of aftermarket support. It hasnt really been an issue so far though. Solid gun and it shoots really well.... much better than me.
