FN FS2000 Availability?

I purchased mine from a member here just as Kodiak was getting out of the gun industry altogether. Questar carries the PS90, but I haven't seen an FS2000 on their site for quite awhile now. I haven't seen one on the EE for a while although I have seen many WTB's though.

It is a great rifle. I know I don't plan on parting with mine.

That was the info I needed to know and didn't really want to hear. I went with a different project around the Kodiak time even though I was thinking something like this was up.... I will trust my instincts in the future. I will also show my wife this thread so I can justify buying almost anything anytime. :)

I was lukewarm then and still am on this particular gun... I kinda want it just for looks, and three g's is a lot for looks.

Yes, you are!:p I think that they are one of the best feeling guns out there. I have no plans to ever sell mine! I might get it re barreled to 6x45 so I can take it whitetail hunting though.:cool:
 
They crop up on the EE only rarely...I picked this one up a few weeks ago after selling my first one last year and regretting it.

I was on the fence with them as well, and ended up buying the last non-restricted one from Kodiak. Worked me out a super deal that I could not refuse. Ian at Herron Arms had done the barrel, it's Parkerized withe the factory brake installed. You can barely notice the difference in length between it and the original barrel. The gun works great and is much better looking in person than in photos.

I have no regrets, or any inclinations to sell it.

You are actually the reason behind this thread, I was contemplating buying your tri rail and just putting it aside :).

Be warned... it WILL drain your bandwith through compulsive checking. It WILL replace your most accessed bookmarks and it WILL strain your marriage and finances. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone here who will disagree. That said, I think it is one of the happiest most magical places I spend time. :)
