FN Model 8 in .35 Remington

450 - thanks for posting those pics, very nice rifles, i am jealous :D
Anytime you tire of them and would like to see them have a new, appreciative home, PM me please ;)

I have seen probably 15 or so at gun shows especially in Ontario, and n/eastern states but this is only one with clip.

Would that be 15 FN 1900s or 15 of this style rifle (8/81/1900)?

The removable magazine doesn't look like pictures I have seen of the Krieger conversions, but I have never heard of any one else doing them.
Also very unique scope mount - do you have the rings/scope?

If you care to show them off to some other, like minded owners, please visit the links I posted.

Thanks again

That would be FN's that I've seen. Job gets me around the country a lot and saw 2 at Woodstock,On show a few years ago,but really banged up.
Don't,but wish I had the scope or rings, think I tried a Tikka set and fit ok,but just not the same feeling of nostalgia.

You'd look after my 14/141's for me too??? ;)

Any of those a 25?
I got one to take the place of a missing heirloom. Turns out mine is older than my Great Uncle's. His had the tang sight but my rifle is 1913 mfg, no accomodations for such a sight then.:(
My wife's Uncle has one from their family in 32 Rimless as he called it complete with a tang sight. He doesn't know much more about it except he thinks it's worth 3K.

Thats very interesting information - I appreciate it - they seem to be a very rare bird in the US, and I certainly don't see them around here much.
Hard to figure why these guns ended up here in the first place. The 8s were fairly commonplace, available in the same calibre, and cheaper to boot.

Oooo, yes indeed!
Again, very nice looking rifles!
Got any 14 1/2s?

I have seen three of these in the last two years at gun shows, I would rate the ones I have seen at about 90%. The last one was at the Calgary gun show last year: asking price was $300.00. If yours was 95% or better I would be interested and would be willing to pay accordingly based on condition.

bottom one is a 25 with a Stevens?? butt on it. Got it that way.Feels dang good tho.
Up is a 30,then 32,35 and 141 is "unfired"35. No 14.5 yet,just havn't found the right ones.
I believe a lot of the FN's came with the immigrants in a better time when you could carry one off a boat under your arm.
