Any of you have experience ordering from Questar?
I'm looking in getting a short barrel PS90. Any opinion on that would be appreciated

Thank goodness I checked all these Questar threads. I phoned and emailed several times with a product inquiry. Never heard a thing. I'll be staying away from them.

Go to their google reviews and sort by "newest". Haven't been replying to e-mails, voicemail, anything since Christmas.

I ended up getting my PS90 from IRG... I know individuals that have been waiting going on 2+ years for them with no confirmed date still on it. They also wont return the 25% deposit.

It was priced too high - for my tastes anyhow. Compared to a new SBR brought in through your 3rd Party Importer of choice? You could do much better if willing to wait a little.

you can also buy the US market 16" version and buy the spikes shorty barrel and swap them out

CMMG makes a factory-correct 10.4" Barrel, Thread Adapter and Muzzle Device for the PS90. Or you can buy a new or used PS90 that has already been SBR'ed with the short barrel already installed like this: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/797915079. Figure $1600 purchase price = $1960 CAD, leaving plenty of room for US Shipping ($30 USD), Canadian shipping ($30 CAD) and Brokerage ~$250 CAD. Factoring in all of the above, you can land a slightly used, factory-correct, semi-auto PS90 for less than $2500 CAD delivered.

So someone please explain to me why anyone would willingly pay $3500 for a PS90?!?!?

$3500 is insanity.... you are paying approx $1500 for a barrel swap

I have one with a 16 inch barrel which is the worst of all options. Too long but not long enough to be nr. I got an amazing price on it though. Last time I checked it was about 750 to change it for a nr barrel at a gun smith.
