FN PS90 from Questar.....?

What are the details? I don't care about the 16 inch barrel lol

Separate upper from lower with take down button.
Zip wheel through the sleeve and through the pencil thin barrel inside. (Or find the hidden pin, then unscrew the sleeve)
Everything will slide out.
Insert new barrel
Hold the chamber with one wrench while tightening the muzzle device with the other.
The muzzle device is what holds the barrel in place, acting as a barrel nut.
Done.

Mine was a Herron conversion before I purchased it from the EE. I was very pleased at its accuracy—the first time I had the gun out I tried five rounds (supported) at 100m with a Aimpoint Micro as the optic and got a 3.25" group.

Ah I see. I researched it a bit and I guess they pin the shroud since the flash hider part of the shroud is what give it the 16 inch length.

Gonna try to find the pin and if that doesn't work out I'll cut thru it.

I just completed the purchase of a NIB PS90 for $1420 USD delivered to my FFL/3rd Party Importer in Arizona. That is $1883 CAD. Importation/brokerage, costs $150 CAD through my selected 3rd Party Importer, plus $26 for Canadian shipping, and $94.15 GST. So, the total for a landed, brand-new PS90 is $2153 CAD (with a 16.5" Barrel).

I purchased a 10.4" CMMG Barrel and P90 Flash-hider from A z t e c h A r m o r y for $300 USD and $120 USD respectively. Add $55 USD for importation/brokerage and $26 USD for Canadian postage for a total of $501 USD or $664 CAD. Add a further $33 CAD in GST for a total of $697 CAD for the short Barrel parts.

The grand total to import a brand new PS90 with the conversion parts for the 10.4" SBR Barrel is therefore $2,850 Canadian, all-in. You can easily perform the barrel swap yourself. So someone please explain again why anyone would pay $3500 for a used PS90 SBR in Canada? That $650 difference could buy a fair bit of 5.7 x 28mm ammo at the going rate of $.75 per round. Just saying.....

I pretty much did the same as you. I got a brand new PS90 directly from IRG aswell as a 10.4 CMMG barrel/flash hider (everything should arrive this month from them) I’m currently just under $2500 for everything. Luckily Herron Arms is local to me so I will be getting them to install the new barrel for me.

Not to stray off topic here but it appears Questar is no longer a sponsored CGN retailer?

They were probably the WORST retailer ive ever dealt with. ZERO customer service, no email responses and not answering phone calls. Total sh!t show

I waited four months for my grenade launcher I ordered from them. After christmas they quit replying to e-mails, voicemails, etc. Had to send them a FAX to get a refund. Complete joke of a company!

Not to hijack this thread, but Is Questar out of business? Their website is up. I just read over this thread and others and seems quite a few people have pre-orders and have heard nothing from the company in months or years! Has anyone out there had any contact with them?

Always been great to deal with

That being said wtf you want a p90 for? Get a mpx or at least something that doesn’t cost arm and leg to shoot

if you can afford ether an MPX or PS90 i dont think you give a care about the price of ammo.
myself i would take a ps90 over and MPX any day.

The only advantage PS90 has over anything else is 50rd mags and suppressor ergonomics. Which is maybe relevant for special forces, but both are irrelevant for Canada's civ market.

P.S. If you look at military adoptions, many militaries think that switching from 9x19 to 5.7x28 is not worth the logistics trouble. FN had both pistol and smg ready to go for US army and Army picked P320 and APC9.
