As of today (not the year old posts I found when I searched) are the PS90's still being approved for export? (I know the Scars are no longer allowed, hence the question)

Are there odd End User Certs needed to get it done or can one of our esteemed brokers on CGN do it?

I may have come across a sweet sweet deal on one down here in MT.....enough to make it worth buying, but I don't want to commit knowing it can't be sent north. Not worried about time frame for export/import, just the ability to do so legally.:D

I do realize they sell them, but the USA cganges the rules daily it seems with some items. I should fire an email to Questar i guess. Some of the FN stuff got glitched right (scar) and i want to confirm that the PS90's for sale were not a one time import deal, and that They are still permissible....thought some CGNers may be in the current loop.

I'm just some newbie on here, so you don't have to belive anything I say but I seriously looked into importing an FS2000 and PS90.

I worked with a well known exporter to get one into the country. We did the prelimary check with the state department and the all-go was given. However once the actual paperwork was submitted it was denied.

The head honcho at the State Department has stated that the PS90's and FS200's are not approved for export from the United Sates under any circumstances. They do not belive them to be sporting firearms and suitable for export.

My only guess for the current ones coming in are that they are filling out grey applications "i.e. FN Carbine 5.7x28 instead of saying PS90) or they have someone they know will approve the export permits on a lower level that they just continually submitt applications to.

Try your best to import one on your own. Chances are your export application will be denied.

Just call Questar, you can buy Ps90's and F2000's, no paperwork required. Kodiak Outpost sells F2000's as well. They may even have some in stock. Bought one myself.

I know they sell them here, have a lead on one in the EE too...but I'm working down here in the US with a guy who is itching to sell his....tight on cash....for $1000. The ATF says i can rent it from him and it should be fine with my hunting license, but if i decide to buy it and export it (all through proper FFL channels etc, nothing shady) i am curious if they are denying them....sounds like maybe, unless you go through Questar....they obviously know the rules.....

Yeah that's what I fear...lol.....and I thought about buying one in Canada and addig it to a Form 6, but have to ask the ATF about that.....sporting or not seems to be the issue, these along with AR types.

I thought the 5.7x28 might make a sweet little Coyote round down here....and handy on the quad.
