Does anyone know where this rifle can be purchaced in Canada? Does anyone own one? Where did you order it from? Thanks for your help.

Questar posted a few days ago that they are working on bringing in more ammo - and it should be a matter of a month or two at most (if my memory serves me right)

Check the questar sub forum on these boards for the details.

Somewhere in the $40-45 per box of 50 I think. It is uncommon ammo and is priced accordingly. At this point that is a guess - Mrsmitty on these boards has bought some at more cost already from other sources. Questar is working on a slightly lower cost.

I have one - short barrel, too :)

I think the ammo problem is solving itself. Questar and others are ordering in 5.7 x 28 ammo (The Shooting Edge has some if you have purchased a five-seven pistol)

Also, they aren't too hard to reload if you have the brass. They use standard .224 bullets, just like .223 Remington (although lighter grains - 28-45) and small rifle primers. You need to order the dies from the US, but they didn't take more than a month to get here. Overall, once you have some brass and the dies, you can reload to your heart's content here in Canada without worrying about importing ammo.

Where does everybody go??

Questar had a second batch come in.... don't you guys keep up with whats going on around here :)

If you would have typed ps90 into search ..............

Looking at prices for this rifle I've noticed that it sells for around 1,700-2,000$ USD in the US. I realize there are costs associated with importing and some premium on the USD - CND conversion (or at least there used to be) but 4,000$ is pretty silly. That's about a 100% markup. What's the justification there?

Supply and demand.

It is not an easy task to import firearms this day and age.

'Seen this gun in action at a couple of matches...
Sure it's cool an' all with it's 50rnd mag and such, but....
The ammo has not the "umph" to knock down many a steel plate...

'Seen shooters have to pepper a plate with several rounds in quick succession to topple a target...

Boolot is fast... but very light.

Just ordered one from Questar. Already have some shells and dies. Can't wait to see what these guns are like! I'm really looking forward to this!

Who knows, try importing through Dave's Sports, a Lynden, Washington based firearms importer. They bring in gear into the Aldergrove Border crossing all the time for about $249 for first rifle + 3% of export license value, $99 for every other. Check web site. All you have to do is find someone to pin the mags or order it up without any and buy mags from Questar. Simple as that AFAIK.
