A stranger had one of these at the range and let me shoot it. The 50 round magazine was pinned to 4! I hope these ones are pinned properly.

Starting @ $3099! That's a bit steep for a gun that sells from $1000-$1300US.

Just say'n.

That being said, if I had to have one, I'd be going for a 'fake can' shroud for sure, but not worth $3100.

The barrel ups the price. They are made for the US with a barrel long enough to avoid the SBR classification. To get special 18.5 inch barrels and labour to make NR here the costs go up. I'd like one but I do balk at the price but I do understand why the price is where it is.

a $2000 increase for a barrel.

Come on.

I am fully aware of the BATFE and NFA SBR rules and regs. I live it. $2k for these barrels, no way????

Sounds more like someone with a monopoly cashing on on the NR status (for now).

Not worth it.

Your math is a little weak. $1200 Usd would be over 1500 CAD if ordered today. You add in another couple of middle men and $800 or so for a barrel. Plus what ever these guys standard mark up is and you get really close to the number. If they sourced these when the dollar was even lower their costs would be higher still. Its a niche product it isn't being imported at a level where the costs scale downward. I would find it unlikely that they are gouging as bad as some of you seem to believe.

Well when you open a shop and do it for cheaper I will be interested but considering you have no intention too. Why pollute a dealers thread. We all know their price and random US dealers price . If you can do these things for less well open up and advertise. When the dollar was better they were selling at around 2800. 31 is a extra 300 dollars. In the grand it's a rounding error.

Amazing!

I am not polluting anything, I just have a valid opinion I shared publically. If you don't like what i have to say, kindly place me on 'ignore'. I am not the only one who thinks the cost is extreme.

$1000-$1300 are NOT random US dealer prices, those are everyday prices what the public pays. Of course add on $35 for shipping to your favourite FFL dealer, and his transfer fee/NICS check of about $30, and you take it home.
