Defense Review has some scanned pictures of SCAR literature from exhibitions by FN. Rumour also has it that the new SCAR-H uses FAL mags. Interesting..

Speaking to Clint Lynch from FNMI - he has confirmed that FN Herstal plans to release civilian variants.
Keep in mind these guns are are still prototypes - but yes the H did (does?) use FAL mags - both imperial and metric work.
HOWEVER liek the HK417 originally usign G3 mags - they have a desire to make them a simple insert and lock like the M16 mag and as such would have to resdesign a mag from scratch
