Hello,
I'm trying to value a firearm. The serial number of this .22L marked rifle is in the 132000's and was likely built in the late 1960's or early 1970's.

It cycles and has lost a lot of bluing but the bore looks bright and the rifling is easily visible. A pair of slots were added to the reciever top and it sports a older Bushnell scope. I hope to test fire it tomorrow.
It has the matching rounded trigger guard but has a crack extending rearward about 1 1/2 that looks stable and narrow. The forestock is complete and the rifle has an assortment of small scuffs and dents from honest but careful use.

Any help assessing its worth woukd be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Are you buying or selling?
Same principle applies either way!
Setting a price you are willing to take or the amount you are willing to give!

To be quite frank, without pictures you are wasting everyone's time including your own!

I used to be able to post pictures to CGN, but can't for the life of me get them visible anymore. As far as solutions go, I could use a third party host or I could send them via text or email to someone gracious enough to share their wisdom.

There seem to be great discrepancies between US rifles and ones here northbound the border.

$600 - $800 depending if the dovetails are factory or aftermarket. 132### should be factory IIRC. It sounds like it's had lots of use but is still functional and all present. If the sights are not factory it degrades the value somewhat.

Here's some pics of barnacle's rifle.
