Well I took my Egyptian Fn49 out for the first time today. Just my luck, it doesn't cycle. Any ideas? The acton doesn't even budge. I took it apart and cleaned it afterwards. It is possible I improperly installed that twist screw thing that has the gas tap in it? I am perplexed.

Sounds like the gas plug needs to be turned 180 degrees. One direction is for semi auto the other way cuts off gas to the system to launch grenades.
You'll still need to adjust your gas system for whatever load you are using via the adjustable gas sleeve....plenty of online resources on how to do that.
