Fn49. What do i have.

I don't know much about these particular guns, but $300 for a semi auto that fires and cycles sounds crazy low to me, Bubba or not.
You are more than welcome to pay more. Venezuelan FN49s in perfect shape seem to go for around $1500. This gun needs a new stock, new top cover with sights, new barrel, new magazine, new magazine release and some other parts, not to mention likely needs the internals upgraded for safety. All that will set you back more than than the gun is worth, and even then it would be a de-sporterization, meaning its still worth less than one that is original.

I'm not looking at it from a collectable perspective. I'm looking at it from the perspective of someone who just wants something to shoot. And a semi auto 7mm mauser sounds like a lot of gun for $300 considering what a Mosin, SKS, Enfield Sporter, or Savage Axis goes for these days.
