Hey all,

Just happened to stumble on this while searching for rifle ranges. The boys took me to the Shooters Edge in calgary for my bachelor party and Ive had the itch ever since to fire off a few more rounds. Im looking to get into rifle shooting. I currently live in Okotoks Alberta so Im hoping to find something close. I know theres a range near Shepard and one small one in Okotoks. Id like to try it out before I go ahead and get my PAL, purchase a firearm and the rest of the gear. I dont hunt or anything like that, just looking to burn off some steam and take on a new hobby. If there is any info you guys can pass on to help me out that would be great.

Welcome to the forum. Your PAL costs very little to get and so does a .22 once you get the PAL. Go for it now and join the crew and become another legal gun owner in Canada. Must be lots of spots to shoot legally just outside of the metropolis of Okotoks.
