FNH Five_seveN Tactical & DAO trouble

In haste, I really messed up. I had the slides of my 5-7 Tactical S.A.O. and my 5-7 D.A.O. and when I put the Tactical back together, I put on the wrong slide. Now its stuck. The slide seems to be caught on something at the back - it will only slide forward about 3/8" - just enough to get the front of the slide off the rail, but thats it. It won't come forward any more.

Any help would be much appreciated - quick fixes or gunsmiths in the GTA.

Update - I removed the composite slide cover - with a gentle tug, the metal slide popped off. I put the composite cover back on and put the proper slides on the proper receivers. Both 5-7's are alive and well again!

I found out on the fivesevenforum that my 5-7 DAO version is rare in the U.S. and can fetch up to US$3,000. Who says guns aren't a good investment - LOL!

I would export that anemic pistol to the US in a heartbeat. You could buy at least 3 1911's in a man's caliber
