Hello everyone,

I will be purchasing my first AR platform, i was wondering if anyone has experiences with FN-15 and what i should look for when inspecting the rifle? Also how do people usually conduct sales for restricted this is also my first time buying it from another person.

FN makes rifles for the US military (along with colt) so you will be good to go as far as quality goes. As for the transfer, you provide the seller with your PAL info and the money. The seller then calls the RCMP to start the transfer. Once the transfer has been initiated, the seller will be provided with a reference number from the RCMP to which he will provide to you. You must then call the RCMP to complete the transfer. Once the transfer has been approved, the seller can mail the rifle to you.

I also find it’s a good idea to ask them to email you a copy of the transfer when you call in with the reference number to complete the transfer. They will mail you a paper copy, but I like having a digital copy for my records.
