FNP 45 arrived today

I'll post some later - I must admit it's growing on me. The more I handle it the more comfortable it becomes.

The only thing I'm noticing is that the dust cover (part with the rail) is actually 'slightly' bent down. I can push it back 'up' with my thumb. Anyone else notice this?

I'm sure it's not a big deal and I'm sure it's somewhat by-design. Just not used to that!

I can see a slight bend in mine, but nothing that I'm overly concerned about.
 
Well I got out this morning with the old man to shot the new pistola. It is very nice. First impressions (50 rounds total fired) are very favorable. I've got the smaller grip insert in and I do like it allot.

Accuracy was average, I didn't manage put anything through "one ragged hole", but I never manage to do that with any gun, so I was not surprised.

It feels really nice in your hand and the DA trigger is very smooth, but a little long. The SA trigger isn't quite as nice. It's still got a little bit of slop in it that may smooth out over time. It's not horrible, but it's not great either.

The 3-dot sights worked well, although I found the first sights white dot was quite a bit bigger then the 2 rear dots. On my gun at least, the front sight is also substantially brighter, while the 2 rear dots are a little muted and dull in their colour.

Overall, great purchase. I'm very happy with it.

Your such a poo-poo head. :)

And trust me, if I didn't already have my collection of 5 points, "poo-poo" would be replaced by something else. :):wave:
