Fnp .45

Hey there im in the market for a .45 to go with my .40 i was looking at the para series , the springfield xdm series and possibly one of the glock series but i was browsing a magazine and came across the fnp .45 tactical in a brown colour with an adaptation to put a holo sight on it .

Anyone seen these on our markets yet or maybe have one and can give me a range report ?

I was in your exact situation just recently even looked at the FNP but could not justify the huge price difference from the Glock 21.

Also, make sure you like the decock,if the version you are looking at has it. I found with my normal grip it was very easy to decock when not wanting to.

Can it be that good? I heard the 'base' $899 FNP 45 was a very good pistol.

Im also considering a beretta at the moment im currently being indecisive lol .

Well I have both the FNP-45 (normal one...not tactical) and the Beretta M9A1 (a little different than your avatar). Both are fantastic handguns. The FNP-45 is quite large in the hands though (I like it but the wife hates it) and can be alittle unbalanced as the mag empties (it's front heavy I find). That's the negatives (the Beretta doesn't really have any)...other than that both weapons will outshoot me no problem and are a dream to own. Can't really say enough about them...buy both if you can!

The S&W M&P 45 and the HK45 are also worth looking at. They are both designed with a 10 round standard capacity magazine, which makes for a slimmer grip than other double stack .45s.
