FNS-40L :( A deal missed......

I am about to take delivery on my second one and they are great. The only problem is that they came into Canada in a non-traditional way and as such there is no official support for them at this time. I found this out when I tried to buy spares, there are none in Canada. YMMV, but make sure you take care of them if you have one.

That's strange, I remember reading P+D (I think) saying they had to drop the price on the ones they had in stock or they've been unsellable. Maybe see if P+D ent can help you with spares.

Non traditional way?

Not brought in by parent company. If you found a thousand count of a gun that the manufacturer didn't bring in to the country, for whatever reason, you could import and sell them. This is assuming they are all within the realm of what can be brought in. So now you have 1K guns you are free to sell, but have no parts and you will have to deal with any kind of warranty issues ( if there is a warranty) yourself. For lack of a better term, the non-traditional way.....

Nope, they were my first communication for parts. They directed me to someone else who did some digging and found that there is no parts available AT THIS TIME. That may change, but for now there is nada.

I just ordered my second one from westsidestores, they have it for 429.99 which was more expensive then my first one but still pretty cheap. I plan on competing with the gun in IPSC so I figured a back up gun was a good idea.

Fired mine for the first time 2 days ago, very nice, accurate, the trigger has a long take up which was a surprise at first but once you know where it breaks, she's all good!

And just bought a fns 40l for $430 from westsidestores.ca out of Salmon Arm BC. Spoke with a nice fella named Bill who confirmed they had a two tone one to go with my 9l. Great deal for what you get.

I just bought a FNS 40L for $499 plus tax, came with 3 mags, two tone, nice gun. But there website write-up on the pistol clames it's a double action ,this is a single action pistol

..... The Balltamore PD has adopted this is as there new side arm, and has had 2 cases of accidental discharge , why the police would carry this cocked with a live round in the chamber all day is beyond me....this is not a duty gun, there is no decoker.....and why FN calles it double action is annother beyond me thought...

But, I like my new purchase for the money,###y in two tone, it very much the same as my XD, witch is also a single action.....lol. just my 2cents

Nicest striker fire gun I,'ve scene yet.

I bought another one for my buddy but he had not come up with the funds so I got one one the EE, brand new in the box , $620 if anyone missed out..
