Foam in pelican cases etc?

Hey Guys

I don't like the pick and pluck that comes in case. Getting other foam. Using case for storage for my handguns and tac rifle. I read somewhere that some foam gives off fumes that could damage the finish of some guns? Any thoughts. thanks

there is a store in calgary ab that deals with pelican and can get not cut or can make custom foam from what i have heard. there name is optimal cases and lights. i have bought a few cases and lights from them and there great to deal with.
