foaming bore cleaner

This may be blasphemy, but I prefer Wipeout to Hoppes.

10 minutes in a room with Hoppes and inadequate ventilation, and I end up having long conversations with Jim Morrison. Wipeout doesn't smell like much of anything, does a very thorough job, and you get plenty of positive reinforcement when that grape KoolAid comes oozing out the muzzle.
What sinful comment was made about God that is relevent to wipeout or hoppes?

What sinful comment was made about God that is relevant to Wipeout or Hoppe's?

There are those among us, Brother, that believe Hoppe's is the "ne plus ultra" of solvents, gifted unto the faithful by The Almighty as a sign of his love for clean bores specifically and shooters in general.

To claim there is another that does better is to flirt with running afoul of the First Commandment.

In short, I'm joking. Apologies if I stepped on your cassock. ;)

Apologies not required...................I don't wear robes of any fashon.;) Only asked clarification on your first post. About 95% percent of the time I use Hoppes and it has worked "miracles" for decades. I give my barrels a final swipe of Gun Treatment for that little gentle touch of preservation.

Wipeout is good stuff, but the problem I have after using Hoppe's # 9 is that women will not leave me alone when they smell it.
There is nothing more annoying than having distractions when one is diligently cleaning a dirty rifle....
