Fobus Paddle Holster

does anyone have any experience with the Fobus Paddle Holsters? are they IDPA compliant... and are they a good buy? or just another inexpensive poor quality holster?

specifically for a glock 17... but I cant imagine they are much different then any other models

I wouldn't use a Fobus Pistol Clamp if you paid me to.

In addition to Blade Tech or Comp Tac, Tac Pro makes a nice molded kydex as well.

Target sports have Tac Pro G17 holster for $22 still which is a steal... you should order one from them.

Any one of the above choices is a better by a long shot.

I've been very happy with the comp tac paddle holster that I have. A buddy of mine has a fobus for his Glock 17 that he's not particularly happy with. Different strokes for different folks, but he is looking for a replacement now.
You don't always get what you pay for, but sometimes you do.

Id rather stick in my pants pocket then use a Fobus Paddle Holsters

I have a Fobus and I have used it for IPSC. It's a low end holster but it does what it's supposed to do. One annoyance is that on a right hand holster, the left side of the holster could be cut back lower to allow more thumb access. Not sure if that makes sense as described. If you can get one, go Bladetech.

Yep, spend a few bucks more and get something you'll never have to upgrade from.
