Fodder for a Ruger 10/22- Any suggestions?

I never had problems with any ammo in a stock 10/22 except for yellow jackets.
Once I upgraded to a heavy barrel is when I found the 10/22 was a little more fussy but still it wasnt often enough to make me wish to avoid a specific brand of ammo.

I found that while I was breaking mine in it would only cycle round nose type bullets reliably. I had a box of Win super-X truncated cone type bullets I tried at the beginning and it literally had a stoppage every 3 rounds.
After I had put a few thousand through it, it seemed to loosen up some and feeds most anything without to much trouble, even those Win super-X jamomatics.
