If there is room for me after a couple guaranteed there wouldn't be any left when you got there.... :)
LMAO! I don't like you!Ya drank all my beer! :p

Take care my friend, soon I'll be posting pic's of my first hunt ;) cheers

Good luck people. Don't forget to let the rookie shoot the first deer or bear.....or she might not cook for ya....;)

I want to see pics with lots of smiling faces over downed animals:cool:

We are home. Saw lot's of signs of Bear but none showed up for breaky :(

While on "Cougar Hill" I spotted a beautiful Doe nonchalantly walking by around 50 yards from me . Even saw her take a dump! lol I'm naming her "Daisy" . Get her next month! ;)

I had a great time on my first hunt, beautiful scenery and great company!
Dumbdawg, Fogducker, Johnny Canuck and Future Hunter.

This is on top of Cougar Hill where I saw Daisy

Foggy will never live down the camera hanging on his chest while the deer was there. He never used it.

I'd call that... DOE fever. :D

You didn't mention how nice and warm you were.

(No smart remarks on 'cougar' hill either guys)

I did catch a chill that morning... it was really damp. But after you left , Johnny, I got a beauty fire going in the cabin and warmed up nicely ;) Got up @ 6am this morn made coffee and headed over to cougar hill to see if we could spot Daisy again ;) Then Dumbdawg and Future Hunter blasted some holes in the bait barrel and we headed home.

Forgot to mention
Both barrels had been cleaned out, and Barrel #1 had a three foot wide trail leading to it. Bear crap all over the place.
Just there at the wrong time.
Have to try again.
We restocked the barrels, and Barrel #2 got a little extra.

speaking of barrel,s...did your barrel ever cool down from shooting the barrel?

Well, I put three into the barrel, with my barrel, because Foggy forgot to punch holes in the bottom.
Nice and stinky now.
Must have really rained up there, both the bear bait sites had about 6" of water in them.
44-40 winchester soft points, handloaded to 1190fps will shoot through a 50 gal barrel 2 out of three times. (One shot was a glancing blow)
Maked nice big holes.
