Nothing here still. Radio silence...
LOL what? Hopefully you're not serious.
Lol, it's amazing how some can think that. Anyone who tries to rationalize the delay is automatically labeled a fanboy or TI's business partner. It is true they could've taken steps to get ahead of the curve when the rifles were in transit and expected to arrive in Vancouver. Once they left China should've been the cue for TI to start prepping shipping, for example... did they? Who knows. It seems like they didn't prep much though.
That being said, license checks need to be done just as the transaction is being completed. Suppose a guy you've sold a rifle to a month ago comes to buy another rifle from you, are you going to take his word that his PAL still valid and not suspended, etc? Or are you going to do the legal thing and check he still has the PAL card in his possession, as the law requires? TI couldn't validate licenses a month in advance for the same reason. A lot can happen between then and now, especially when you're talking 1,000 different customers (PAL holders).
Anyway, there's a some stuff that could've perhaps been done better no doubt, but to accuse people of being collaborators simply because they can picture reality is a bit ridiculous. We're all tired of the wait, but it is what it is.
Btw, Youza... has TI's HR sent you your paycheck yet? I got mine and I think I'm short changed a little. Must be those damned union dues again, lol!
