I know this sounds like an oxy moron (or I do...the last part at least), but I 'd like your expert advice on choosing a folding precision rifle stock for Remington 700 .
Top Criteria are weight and price. Minimum aluminium pillar bedding. oh yeah, I have short arms so short LOP would help.
Current options are :
Manners TF1/TF2 folding composite stock = (heavy and pricey)
Choate Ultimate Sniper folding stock = (light at 3.5 lbs but discontinued ).
MDT LSS with folder adapter = ( light 1.6lbs for frame, but add stock , pistol grip etc. bonus Well-made in Canada, modular, but pricey... components start to add up lenth of pull a little long) .
I was curious, what kind of setup do you run or which would you choose and why ?
