Folding stock problem

Rifle should have the bolt hold open. Check your mags to see if they are converted AK mags, or if the bit that hits the BHO device is missing.

Most CZs have the semicircular sight ears, CSAs have the round ones like an SKS. If your BHO is not working check to make sure its installed correctly and moves freely. Solvents can collect in the cutout and gum up preventing it from working. Also check the followers in your mags to make sure they're not binding. Sometimes when the spine is riveted it can compress the slot for the BHO tab and prevent it from topping out.

I tried out my CZ with the other 3 mags last night and the BHO works fine. For some reason the first mag I tried wouldn't engage it. I still find it odd that my friends CZ-858-2 from 2008 ( not a CSA) has a fully enclosed sight hood and mine has a semi circular one. Not a big deal but just odd.

Also, I find the bolt holding the folding stock on doesn't stay very tight. Should I lock-tite it?

A couple of mine had circular sights and a couple came with the semi enclosed. Semi enclosed is better for optics so that your sight picture is not obstructed.

My new issue is that the Czech folding stock wont lock in the extended position. It will lock fine in the folded position. How can I fix this? Anyone have a similar issue with theirs?

Might just be a bit tight? Maybe a few smacks, lube, etc might be all it needs? It's a pretty simple design. Or possibly maybe it needs slight fitting.
