First of all I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Rey from PA, USA.
I've had my Vz-58 for about 4 months now and love it. I recently changed the sporter stock for a folding one. I'm having trouble pushing down on the button to fold. I can do it, but with a lot of force. Is there any ways of loosening this. I basically have to set the gun down to fold and unfold it the way it is now.

welcome rey, the button you press can be loosen by a screw driver, turn back a couple of turns and that should reduce the pressure of the spring . if that dont work then continue turning till the button comes off, allowing to dismantle the hing assemble, clean all the parts, make sure there is no sharp edges and apply clean grease, and reassemble . try that , good luck

Take your strong hand and put it on the shoulder guard. Take your weak hand and press the button with moderate force, and now wiggle the rear of the stock really fast side to side while still putting pressure on the button. Almost in a panicky jerky fashion.
So push button...and twitch really fast.

It is not your average push button like an AKSU.

Lol. I pictured this while I read it. I think you both may have some small issue with yours. I just press the button and close/open. No panicky, jerky, twitchy, wiggle stuff. But you made me laugh.:)
