folding stock sks

hey guys, had a question i have an sks i have put a ati aftermarket stock on, am i allowed to completely remove the folding stock from time to time and just take it to the range with the pistol grip only as the folding part is a little annoying when i am blasting away for ####s and giggles, or would that be against the law, any ideas? thanks

Hhhmmm is it over 26" without the stock?

good question, i will measure it but assuming the stock is folded in, it must meet requirements at that point right, or the aftermarket stock woundnt have been approved, i will check though,

yep, just measured 31.5 inches with it folded in

Then you're GTG. You won't hit the broad side, but GTG all the same.

lol.. thanks, i know its not very effective for any accuracy just a bunch of fun sometimes, just didnt want to remove it if it would make it illegal, but the 26" thing makes sense.
