While at Cabelas Edmonton today, a buddy and I decided to give the Gun Library a look. It turns out that they have several of the commemorative Winchesters in the display case. Asking price.... Anywhere from $1000 to $1200 with the box
Calibres were from 30/30 to the 38/55...

In case you guys were wondering...

Yup. In a gun shop.
I saw a Canadian Centennial Rifle sit in the Kenora Canadian Tire for a year or so with a $1400.00 price tag on it. During that year I saw a few of them in like condition on the EE for about $600.00.

Check back in 6 months and see of those are still there. EE pricing, which is generally on the high side of anything reasonable, is $500-$600 unless there is something remarkable about the rifle.

I sold an 1894 (dated 1900) 38-55 with half of its blueing left for a little over $900. I had been shooting it at the time but sold it to get something I was not afraid to run hotter loads in. Bought a Highwall 45/70 mainly because I was not going to be able to get a 38-55 in anything longer than a 22in barrel. Stubby falling blocks just dont do it for me,

This post, the OP, isn't giving teh value of the rifles, like the title states.
He is merely saying what he has seen them list for sale at.
