I just ordered one and your review on it would be very much appreciated. I'm only buying it for the sake of trying something new and would just like your feedback. What do like or dislike about it? Thank you.
???Thanks, how about the buffer tube? Is it inter changable? Or do you think it would be easy to fix the stock in place some how if not?
Thanks, how about the buffer tube? Is it inter changable? Or do you think it would be easy to fix the stock in place some how if not? I'm definitely not trying to reduce recoil, I just like the Tapco stock but hate the saw grip and this seemed like a solution. Also because Tapco, stupidly, does not include the butt pad with their system and that irritates the #### out of me. This seems like a better deal.
Haven't looked into or felt the need to do that myself. I'll take a look at it when I get a chance but the above post seemed to know something I don't.
You don't find it throws off accuracy? That's my only concern. If it impedes accuracy I'll want to disable the movement. Maybe it depends on the shooter though.
My friend has one on his SKS. He like it. I prefer the original wood stock. His shoots minute of barn door. Mine shoots 6" groups at 100yds. YMMV. (the accuracy is probably unrelated to the stock, it very well may just be the user lol)
I've never noticed any problems. Mind you I have the foregrip and red dot. Hard to say.
