Is that a LER scope? You didn't want to just clamp a normal scope on the receiver with the grooves there?

It'll be the coolest .22 you've ever shot...

I glass bedded the stocks which improved the accuracy but it wouldn't stay sighted in with a scope on the receiver so I put an LER scope on the barrel. Now it stays sighted in.
