They are showing a lot of zombie flicks and horror movies on the Space channel this month for Halloween. Got me thinking... what have I got on hand to repel the inevitable Zombiepocalypse?? :confused:

So in honour of Halloween and one of the all-time favorite gunnutz topics... I offer my current collection of potent 9mm:

These shots follow the same order: Golden Saber 147gr.; Cor-Bon 125gr. +P; Ranger 147gr. SXT; Remington 115gr. bonded +P; Federal 147gr. HST; Remington 115gr. JHP; Winchester 147gr. JHP; Fiocchi 115gr. JHP.

I'm always looking for more. Anybody got any leads on Hydrashoks or Gold Dot? Gotta keep my eyes peeled. Meanwhile, I should be able to hold out against the undead for a little while :D

Just to go completely 9mm :runaway:, here's photo of everything I've been able to find in 9mm over the past few years:

First row (closest to camera): hollows
Second row: 115gr.
Third row: 123/124/125gr.
Fourth row: 147gr.

Nice! I got nothin in the JHP region right now!
Where do you find JHP for 9? I live in Van and I can't find any! :(
 
you sir, are worse than me. I'm sitting on 150 7mm-mag 175g, easily 300+ .303 british in 150 and 180, more than 2000 of 22lr, and about 500 2.75 and 3'.. at least i diversify.

You are secure from the zombies.. for now.
 
I just ran out of 9mm allo and ZERO rounds left...:eek: Used up all the ammo on my last zombie hunt. :D

I reload but haven't had time to hit hit the bench in a while, but I have some .45's and lot's of .22's :runaway: My shotgun should be OK as well...
 
Ghostie, you always have the best damn posts anywhere, seriously. I go out of my way to read everything you post, regardless of whether it applies to me or not.

With that being said, here's some of mine. I've since shot off all of the 9mm and .40 below

And I don't even own a 10mm, but how in the hell does a guy pass up on these two? An original box of 10mm Black Talons and PMC Starfire. I think I'll have to buy a G20 here pretty quick.

I find that... to get the "cool" ammo you have to really keep your eyes peeled at the shops, look in the EE, order from site sponsers... It can be hard to find. I keep telling Shane (at Reliable Gun & Tackle) to order this stuff in. Sometimes they get something "neat", and usually sells out right away. Get me some Gold-Dots Shane!

Yah, my post is a little on the OCD side... good to be prepared though. I need some bigger calibers though! :D

These Rangers actually came from Reliable as well. I want to find the 124gr.+P+ that somebody had on here though. That looks wicked. The Rangers they had didn't last all that long. People love to try this stuff. I keep telling them... order it in... a lot of guys (like myself) will buy a box or two for the hell of it.

Ha! That is so awesome. We have a pumpkin shoot this Sunday for Halloween. I wonder what it would take to get a range to agree to a "Zombie shoot" for Halloween. Get some Zombie targets and Zombie jello brains?? Some will not see it as all that PC, but frankly, at this point who gives a f#&K! They're ZOMBIES... evil brain eaters that want us dead!

targettarget... you have an absolutely wicked collection going there... or at least did until you put it to good use. That is NICE!! :D

Black Talon is the "Holy Grail" of factory pistol ammo. Would love to get some, even in a caliber I don't have a gun for.
