For Law Enforcement use only?

I notice you can order AR lowers marked
For Law Enforcement or Military use only

Is this a USA thing that doesn't apply here?
Would you run into any trouble if the local cops happened to
check your gear and saw that marking?

If its an AR15 (Semi auto only, IE not Illegal) and you have your paperwork in order, you could have "I F***ed your mom" on the reciever and it wouldn't make a difference.


Im pretty sure the "LE and Mil. only" markings are for A. US states that have AW bans and the "pre ban/Post ban" stuff still matters, or for B. liability issues (so the company doesn't look bad if its used in a naughty way... this is grasping for straws tho IMHO)


So yeah, the Mil/LE only is nothing to worry about
