I was thinking about ordering a few boxes. It looks like surplus ammo, except the bullet weight is apparently 145gr instead of 147gr, and it's labeled as non corrosive. I am a little suspicious of the latter, especially considering the description - has anyone tried this?

It's possible it's on-corrosive. There is current commercial that is, and this is about that price point. I didn't include it on the post as its not really bulk. MFS is apparently on-corrosive too, as is the new Russian @ Westrifle. For the price I'll just clean promptly! Especially easy with Mosin.

What do you mean on-corrosive?

I ran some mfs through my mosin this weekend, and I didn't clean it like I would corrosive.
I checked the barrel last night, it looked great.

MFS is non corrosive and good quality only ever had 1 dud in thousands
all i use in my SKS

Just a couple of points of clarification. The SFRC ammo is Bulgarian, not Russian - circle 10. Same with the Wholesale stocks.

The price at Westrifle went up to $299 but still a good deal with free shipping.

There is Barnaul at Frontier for $279 but its not free shipping.

Well I tried it out, about 3 out of every ten required a second hit to make it go bang

Wholesale sports in South Edm had Russian 880 rounds for 265 today. They listed as 127gr , but I told them they need to change the sign to 150gr. They didn't have a clue. Its as good price as I seen in Edmonton for a while. Nice clean wood cases. 71 vintage.

Can't find anything online, but was there today.
