Not really milsurp, but close enough. My boy is an aforementioned Lego maniac, and as I've been researching my family's service history in the World Wars, he's shown an interest.
I stumbled on to the site Brickmania.
They do all kinds of accurate (lego accurate ) vehicles, figures and parts. I just ordered a 97 trench gun, SMLEs, Stens, Brens and Lewis guns and enough Brodie helmets and Canadian torso transfers to outfit a Canadian infantry unit.
Want me this MkV BAAAAD until I saw the price... Not just WWI and WWII but all kinds of eras. Not the cheapest stuff, but I appreciate what they're doing enough to support them.
Anyway, a good way to get the kids or grandkids interested...
