For the lever action buffs

I'm interested in getting .357 magnum lever action carbine, and I was wondering about what is available, and which brand and model is the best in terms of accuracy and dependability.

I would be considering either a winchester 94 trapper or one of those Pumas.

Look at the 1894 Marlin. You can use .38 special ammo in it for cheaper plinking and fun days.

A knock-about/varmint rifle. Pretty much the same use as my mini 14.

I've got a Puma and really like it. Terrific quality. The only complaint I have is that they must use the same profile of barrel regardless of caliber so my 357 version is a little barrel heavy whereas a .44 or .45 version would be lighter.

I just bought a Puma .357mag, Stainless steel, from Epps I had it shipped here to New Brunswick, at my door taxes and shipping in, I paid $720.00. The bleued model is about $30.00 less.
