First off, It's your gun, so personalize it as you see fit....but...don't expect it to sell for a premium. Again my expectations take a hit as I answered a classified ad for an early Glock 17 in "mint" condition. The price was a little on the high side, but I would have paid it. All the paperwork, original magazines, and even some Gen 1 Glock promo stuff....perfect!...BUT,...the owner decided to stipple it with a soldering iron to "enhance" the grip. I would have gladly paid his premium, but to me it was ruined. I hate soldering irons!!

Totally agree and it happened to me for a "new never fired G19"

Price was good... And I saw the stippling job... Worth 0$ to me

I had to look this up, never heard of it. I think grip tape would accomplish the same thing and be removable so not sure why anyone would do this.

Id buy a stippled gun if the price reflected it but on here peope think its worth more then new for their time into somebody it.

On a serious note if your a hard core shooter, and have no plans of selling the gun, instead you will be shooting the #### out of it then who cares. I respect KevinBs opinion and he shoots alot and stipples his M&Ps ext... Im a weekend shooter at most so I prefer Talon grips, or even better RTF2 Glocks.

I dont reload and the manual says to not use reloads so there. And i can buy a zillions glocks for the price of your .50cals so there!:p

With factory +P loads as well.... Laugh2
