I found this rifle in the states and had to have it. I made the deal and had it imported by Clay. It finally showed up, and I am very pleased. Its a NIB sako 75 greywolf in 223, with a 1-8" twist. After making the deal I had read about some guys having trouble reaching the lands and having the round still fit the mag, so I made up some dummy rounds and it turns out I can reach the lands nicely and still have a little bit of room left in the mag. :)

Interesting and nice find... I was unaware of Sako mading a model 75 Grey Wolf I thought they were only available in the model 85 series.

I have a model 85 Grey Wolf in 22-250 it is amazingly accurate it's action is the smoothest action I have ever had the pleasure to use...

Good score. The Grey Wolf was at the latter end of 75 production so the numbers aren't high. Think their were 3-5 of these that originally came into the country via Stoeger. At that time I found one at Epp's and snatched it up immediately. Have fun with it, they're nice!

This was the first grey wolf I had seen in a smaller action than the III size. I wanted a lighter, walking varminter and planned to rebarrel it to 6-204, but when I found out it had the 1-8 twist I thought I would try it before touching it.

Indeed a sweet find....I think I remember seeing this one.

I told another guy about a Sako m75 Greywolf 270WSM I seen and he got Clay to import it. I was seriously thinking of getting it myself but I want a m75ss 270WSM so I can put a MacMillan stock on it. I might look for a 30-06 in the m75 Greywolf as I have a new 25-06 barrel off a Sako m75 Greywolf I built my 338-06AI on in 2008 and this way when my boys are older, one casn shoot my Sako m75ss 243 and the other the 25-06 and then graduate up to the larger calibers in my Sako m75 collection.
