Vanessa's Tikka just came home after getting a bit of work done on it by the boys at Corlanes. That includes a new McMillan Sako Hunter stock with Edge technology. The green and pink paint job was Vanessa's idea. With scope, the rifle comes in sub 7 pounds and should make a dandy sheep rig.

It looks good. What is the weight of the stock vs the factory version? What cartridge is the rifle chambered for? Has the barrel been shortened?

Not sure on the weight difference as we never weighed the original one but I suspect not very much. An ounce or two perhaps.

It's a 30-06 and barrel is original length.

It might still receive a spiral fluting job on the bolt.
