Finally found a win 94 big bore in .444 marlin from a fellow member about 6 months ago. Been looking for ions for one and jumped on this one with both feet and hands really fast! Got a great deal on it and with a fast throw together hand load (with handgun slugs) it does a clover leaf at 50 yards....Good enuff for me as I really don't intend to hunt with it...But if I ever take hunting up again...its gonna be me bush rifle!!!

Your a lucky man, I too have always wanted one of those. Something about a Win 94 in 444 has interested me. Been kicking myself for not buying one when they were still many available.
 
Very envious of your AE, I have the little brother to the .444 BB, the .375BB- You are correct they point so well, an with that scope setup would be an absolutely hard to beat big game stalking rifle, more in regards to Your Elk or down here, The Sambar deer.

On all accounts the .444 is a very capable 200m round. which would be a long way an in most instances shot are out to 100ms.

Have fun with that thing, an look after er a lil.
