I've been wanting a short but practical 12ga SxS for some time (yrs) and finally jumped on one. I know all the negative said about Turkish shotguns but I gave this one a pretty good once over and unless the guts are soft junk I think I'm ok. Just the way it comes leaves me thinking they have the basics down. Five chokes included, should raise a few eyebrows on skeet afternoon......

Nice, I’ve had a hankering for a shorter barreled choked 12g sxs lately but I haven’t made my mind up yet. They look fun and one can always use another 12g shotgun as far as I’m concerned.

Twenty years ago if a fella wanted a brand new short SxS shotgun, his very short list usually had merely one or two Brazilian manufacturers. No case, no recoil pad, no extra chokes and nothing other than plain vanilla wood and a bit too heavy as well.

Yours is very nice!

Hardly the unknown, Huglu has been around for a long time. They've made guns for Cz for years and before that Dehaan and have been known for having QC issues such as fit, finish, choke fit, heavy triggers, barrel regulation, etc. Some of these issues can be tolerated in a gun with this price point but the problems with these guns seem to be slowly disappearing and one hears less and less complaints with them all the time.
I have a 202b and first time out I found the left hammer was hanging up on the inside of the stock. I just relieved a bit of wood on the inside of the stock wrist to give the hammer more room and the problem was solved. I also lightened up the triggers from about 8 lbs down to 4 and it's been a good gun ever since.
