Forbes rifles

I have a 24B in 30-06 and I like it.
The only other rifle that I can offer a comparison to would be my original Remington 700 Ti,
Both look very similar and almost the same weight.
In appearance the Forbes looks like a Rem. 700 that's been put on an extreme diet, both have blind mags, similar looking stocks, same type of safeties, etc.
There are other members of this forum that have had far more experience with lightweight rifles than myself, I would suggest that you read the recent thread pertaining to a mountain rifle build as it is a very informative read on the subject of lightweight rifles as discussed by some very knowledgeable CGNers...
