Okay I am looking for a forgrip for my project but trying to figure out if I want a folding or fixed unit and a unit with or without light/laser.

I have used a couple of brands before but I think I want something with a light mount built in. Is there anything other than surefire for an integral switch for the light. I want to not have wires running down the gun from the light to the foregrip/handguard.

It depends what your application is...Home defence, direct action, LE/Mil...etc. What will you be using the light for? please let everyone know, then you might get better feedback.

First off I put this topic in the black rifles mainly because the AR crowd that I thought would have the widest use for a foregrip. Also plan to mount it on my RFB which should be here next week.

Actually planning this foregrip for a KSG. So it will be used to aid in cycling the action, plu I want a light with a pressure switch built into the grip so there is no wires so I can use it for defence and quick target point and shoot. I am used to using a weapon light on a pressure switch to quickly blind fire, move while light is off then fire again from new position.

Hence why I asked what works, and what people have here. So far I think surefire might be winning out but I am trying to find something a bit more budget minded that will work.

None of the local dealers here carry anything remotely tactical of any quality, mainly airsoft and air rifle.

Do a search on here, something about snapping the lower rail thats all i remember theres some guys local to me that had this problems too. Post up in the black n green scattergun about it.

I like the folding grip myself, I have always used them. The one I have can fold and lock at a 45 angle which is sometimes fun and diff

How i would run it on a AR with a quad rail, using the description you provided, is using some kind of stubby grip like a Tango Down grip in conjunction with a tail cap activated light. This will eliminate any need for a tape switch because you can activate the light with your thumb when indexing on your fore-grip. Although i am not sure how you would do this on a RFB as i am not familiar with the format of the fore-end/rail placement.

Ie....(these are just a few examples.)
using a foregrip like this.

in conjunction with a light mount like this.

ps. I use a tango down stubby grip QD in conjunction with a DBAL I2 the stubby grip is great but the QD functionality is gimmicky at best. The only reason i got the QD version was because i was able to get it used for cheap, if i where you i would just save the cash and get the regular version.

I think this is more what I am looking.

1" light w/435 Lumens and strobe.

Grip w/trigger

There is the Surefire M900 series lights. Very expensive but with the quality and customer support you would expect for the price.

They are the Kings of Vertical foregrip Lights.

That's if you don't mind paying $600-800 for a flashlight.
Dont get caught up in the lumens war. There are reasons why Surefire doesn't have super high output from most of their weapons lights.

holy crap!!! they are asking $99.00 for the t-grip now???

dude, i have 2 of those things sitting in my gun room somewhere... Ill send you one for free, just pay shipping...its yours!..

works good with the fenix TK11 or the short single battery flashlights..

PM me the details for EMT or (FRAUD ALERT) and I am sold...
