Hi all,
This question does not directly pertain to black/green rifles, but I figured this forum might have more experience with the topic of my question than any of the others.
I have an HK SL6 (.223) and HK SL7 (.308) rifle, both of which use specialized magazines that are no longer commonly-available in North America.
I have found a European retailer that is able to legally export the SL6/SL7 magazines. The problem is that these magazines are 10rds. I've contacted several companies in Canada, even those licensed to possess prohibited devices, and I've been told that the laws require the magazines to be pinned prior to crossing the Canadian border, even if they are destined to a company with proper licenses.
So I now need to find a supplier that will pin prior to shipping *OR* find a foreign-based company to whom the 10rd magazines can be legally shipped, pinned by the company, and then legally exported to Canada.
Has anyone heard of such a service? I'm at my wits end trying to find SL6/SL7 magazines in Canada.
