I currently have a 6mmbr set up in an MDT ACC chassis. The chassis is currently around 2 inches wide. I am waiting on a new front rest that is set up for 3 inch wide foreends. Has anyone made a homemade foreend attachment to ride a front rest smoother out of aluminum or delrin? The bottom of the chassis has an arca rail and mlok so attachment will be pretty straight forward.

I’ve made a couple out of 3” aluminum channel. Just machine the sides down to 3/8”long or so.

Nice work Crowellsr! Awesome bench plate!

i have a whidden track plate 3 inches i dont use , 35.00$

I don't have the skills for milling aluminum, so I will add another plug for the Whidden Track Plate.

It comes with Anschutz rail mounting hardware. I switched that out and used M-LOK screws and nuts to mount on my MDT XRS chassis.
The countersink depth on the holes is generous and those button head screws clear no problem.

If I removed the swivel stud I could move it forward a notch.

$35 is a good deal! (I bought mine new for about $45).

P.S. I have an Arca rail on order. When it arrives, I will have to modify the plate mounting method for attaching to an Arca clamp. I have some ideas, and will post results when I get it done.
